Predicting Heart Failure using AI/DL

We automate the task of analyzing heart health using artificial intelligence (AI) and to classify heart health. Classification result indicate Heart Health as Normal or Abnormal, Classify type of heart disease, and even provide early prediction for congestive heart failure.

Classifier provides an an early warning to consumer, and present them with an opportunity to seek attention of a cardiologist, as an early intervention. 


  1. World Health Organization estimated 18 Million people died from cardiovascular diseases in 2015, representing 31% of all global deaths. 
  2. Center of Disease Control, indicate that in the United States heart disease is the leading cause of death and about 610,000 people die of heart disease every year. 
  3. American Heart Association, reported that about 2,200 Americans die of cardiovascular disease each day, an average of 1 death every 40 seconds. 
  4. In 2016, Cardiovascular Disease cost Americans $555 billion. By 2035, the cost will skyrocket to $1.1 trillion.

Sensing Hardware

Smart Sensing Hardware allows user to capture their heart signals - sound, electrical, and mechanical signals with high accuracy, and perform signal processing tasks, using complex AI Engine and fixed function accelerators.


Using High Performance Computing Machines, perform classification on captured heart data, to detect abnormal heart sound, heart valvular disease, and even predict possible signs of congestive heart failures.
